If you have particular artistic flair, you could even create a design of your own by hand and scan it into the computer to be used alongside word processed text. In any event, it is best to experiment with what method of design suits you best and what result you would like to see.

These can be printed off with a Desktop Printer, but once again it is a good idea to experiment with different thicknesses of card until you like what you see. Perforated card or card cutters can be used to make business cards, but aspects such as design and alignment can be problematic, and Printer Ink can prove to be expensive.

Probably the most popular method is to create your own business cards online. There are plenty of design applications on offer with a wide variety of tools, some of which are not dissimilar to those used by professional design companies, however some will offer business card templates or designs which may be a little too bland or tasteless, so shop around to find the design which you feel is most suitable. All you need do then is to save your work, pay for it online and wait for the finished business cards to be delivered by post.
