Is it safe to have alot of animals with little children?
Cayo (my bf) and I love dogs mainly big dogs we have 12 (i cant resist them before we moved in together i had 5 he had 7) rotties cannon akitas pits and dobermens and we are getting a lab puppy. but do they carry any diseases that may harm babies
we also have birds cats rodents (like chinchillas mice gerbils etc) but maily dogs
i know we have too many but we love em all but can they harm pregnant women or babies?
DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR A CAT LITTER BOX WHILE YOU ARE PREGNANT!
OTHER THAN THAT, I THINK IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO RAISE CHILDREN WITH ANIMALS! I LOVE ALL ANIMALS AND SO DOES MY SON. WE HAVE 3 CATS, 3 DOGS, 3 TURTLES, 3 BEARDED DRAGONS, AND I ACTUALLY JUST DOWNSIZED ON ALL MY REPTILES AND SMALL MAMMALS CUZ WE WERE PLANNING ANOTHER BABY, BUT I DID HAVE MORE.
I WOULD NOT HOWEVER LEAVE A SMALL CHILD UNATTENDED WITH ANY DOG! ESPECIALLY A BIG DOG. THEY CAN PLAYFULLY JUMP ON THE SMALL CHILD AND REALLY HURT HIM OR HER. I JUST BARELY LET MY SON HANDLE MY BIG DOGS CUZ HE IS MUCH BIGGER THAN A REGULAR 5 YEAR OLD BOY AND HE CAN REDIRECT AND DISCIPLINE MY DOGS WHEN THEY TRY TO JUMP. HE IS VERY GOOD WITH THEM AND HAS GREAT CONTROL OVER THEM.
